I suppose I should post an update about Afest, since I wrote about it before. *SUPA LATE LIEK HECK*

So I had a heck of a time finding my table, and when I finally found it, I first saw this table for a particular professional Korean artist that I'd recognized from Akon, and who drew a manga that I'd read on OneManga, and does gorgeous arts.
me: oh hey I recognize this pretteh artz!
*sees my name on empty table right next to it*
me: well crap..
table ppl: >_O

lol my table neighbors were nice tho. We traded art stuffs. and I got to use one of my mini-canvases.

I basically table sat the whole time, with like, a few bathroom + wander breaks, and one break to move my tiger parasol to the Art Show.

I feel so honored that I Actually got commissions this year, even with like, only one example piece of my work (the Chinese Lantern thing. which still didn't sell. I'm gonna mat that thing and try again.)
But then, someone asked for a commission of Hiei rather roughly, as if she didn't particularly care, or was just testing my skills and quietly comparing them to other, better artists. And then later she changed it to non-colored, and then never came back to pick it up. wut. D:
B/c I don't actually like this character, I needed to find a reference through someone else's internet access, and then it was also the first commission I finished, so I felt like I wasted time finishing it. and now I have a fairly rushed lineart of a character that I care absolutely nothing about.


To the two ppl to whom I still owe commissions, I'm SO HORRIBLY SORRY I'M TAKING FOREVER ON THESE. ASDFGHJKL *CRAI* DDD'8
